Tacna

At the extreme south of the Peruvian coast, Tacna is the border town with Chile. In the heart of a sandy desert, the oasis in which the city has developed is home to a large number of vineyards, olive trees and other fruit trees: it is the very image of the industrial coast and of Peruvian productive and exporting agriculture, stimulated by the border trade with its economic neighbor Chile.
